Michael S. Schimpf P.T.A, L.M.T has been helping clients eliminate pain and increase strength for over 20 years. Michael is currently licensed in Physical Therapy and Therapeutic Massage. His background includes Neuromuscular Therapy, Healing Touch, Pilates, Yoga and Strength and Conditioning Training. Due to Michael’s Physical Therapy licensing, he is well versed in all aspects of rehabilitation. He specializes in weakness and pain conditions, including post-surgical cases. What makes Michael unique in his field is his focus on POSTURE and gait patterns as a means to determine the origin of pain. Just because someone has back or neck pain, it does not always mean that the problem lies within the spine. Many times the cause is actually weak or stiff muscles elsewhere in the body that are causing inefficient movement patterns. The spine is the location of pain but not the cause. Michael Strives to address pain and movement issues logically and effectively. Strengthening exercises specific to the client are another part of the solution. Exercises will help to maintain and continue progress.
